Turns out, the dollar store isn’t the worst place to find claw clips. I found three claw clips for $1.50 a piece. I also found faux pearls and rhinestone stickers for an additional $2 AND I even went above and beyond and bought some regular faux pearl beads as well.

This season, tie dye has made yet another comeback. However this time, it has a twist. The well known and loved vibrant, multicoloured tie dye patterns are being replaced with more muted pastels and simple designs. And although I am a die hard (pun intended) fan of traditional tie dye, this pastel vibe has been speaking to me.

Last week I branched off into a whole new world of jewelry making and took a whack at making some wire rings. Let me tell you, I am completely blown away by how successful they were! I made these flower rings in fifteen minutes using only 14 inches of wire per ring

If you’re like me and can’t refrain from buying random knick knacks at the thrift store, this is a great project to bring new life into some plain artifacts. Glass etching cream is a paste that you can apply to any glass surface that will basically eat away the top layers to reveal whatever pattern you painted on.
